The two pads will arrive in the Tektro package. Are they metal? Seems so. I hope that they last longer than my "organic" replacement pads. This design is VERY easy to exchange the pads. You just need a 5mm allen key to adjust the position of the pad and brake cable after you swap the pads.

Its a heavy vehicle too. The air shocks in the rear puts more stress on the front brakes. Now it might be possible to still have the original rear rotors at 140,000 miles because the dampening. Also, the original OEM brakes were failing and GM upgraded them. So the rotors probably took a beating from the original brake pads.
